Always adopt from legitimate shelters and never obtaining a pet from either these classified sites or pet stores. How these profiteers operate and disguise themselves in order to fool the public and ways to identify them.
These ads are heavily populated by puppy mills, illicit breeders and “resellers” masquerading as “rehomers” These ads create a false market for companion animals which directly results in the epidemic of pet overpopulation and the direct euthanasia MILLIONS of pets in the US alone!
